The contact area where the bass meets the yoke is specially designed by StringSwing to ensure that there is not chance of a reaction with traditional nitrocellulose finishes. Should you decide to choose the Hangar XXL to display your bass guitars, for your peace of mind, we suggest that you check your guitars occasionally to be assured of their safety.
The name Hangar comes about as Munson guitars are named after planes, so it made sense to call the place where you park your guitar, a Hangar. Of course the Hangar is designed to hold most guitars and basses, and can even be customised with your own engraving.
The original Hangar XXL bass guitar stand has been designed and made in Britain by the team at Munson Guitars. The Hangar guitar stand comes with the base detached for easier shipping, and is super simple to assemble. With only two screws, you will be hanging your guitar in no time.
Want to make your Hangar XXL truly personalised? Simply select the option for engraving and add the text you want on the base of the Hangar XXL in the purchase options. Or you can opt to have an image etched on the base, in that case make a note in the purchase options and you will be sent instructions on how to get the image to us. You will be sent a proof for your approval, before the engraving is applied to your Hangar XXL.
The yoke may be too narrow for some classical guitar, but don’t worry, we have a product for you as well. Please specify that you have a classical guitar in the purchase options, and we will ship your Hangar XXL with the appropriate yoke.
