The Hangar is an organically designed wooden guitar stand that keeping your instrument safe and extremely accessible.
The contact area where the guitar meets the yoke is specially designed by StringSwing to ensure that there is not chance of a reaction with traditional nitrocellulose finishes. Should you decide to choose the Hangar to display your guitars, for your peace of mind, we suggest that you check your guitars occasionally to be assured of their safety.
The name Hangar comes about as Munson guitars are named after planes, so it made sense to call the place where you park your guitar, a Hangar. Of course the Hangar is designed to hold most guitars, and can even be customised with your own engraving.
The original Hangar guitar stand has been designed and made in Britain by the team at Munson Guitars. The Hangar guitar stand comes with the base detached for easier shipping, and is super simple to assemble. With only two screws, you will be hanging your guitar in no time.
Want to make your Hangar truly personalised? Simply select the option for engraving and add the text you want on the base of the Hangar in the purchase options. Or you can opt to have an image etched on the base, in that case make a note in the purchase options and you will be sent instructions on how to get the image to us. You will be sent a proof for your approval, before the engraving is applied to your Hangar.
The yoke may be too narrow for some classical guitar, but don’t worry, we have a product for you as well. Please specify that you have a classical guitar in the purchase options, and we will ship your Hangar with the appropriate yoke.
